Welcome Back to A Divergent Mind (formerly The Divergent CEO)
How time flies...
What seemed to have been a minute (in my ADHD timezone), has actually been over a year since I wrote my last post here. And what a year it has been!
To summarize: 2024 started by kicking my a$$ all the way down, then did its big one and lifted me up in the most beautiful way. Like a roller coaster, I went through the highs & lows, bracing myself, wondering what could possibly be the next level of this game called Life. What was it going to be? The Last of Us or Mario Bros?

Plot twist: I ended the Year becoming part of BBC 100 Women 2024.
Still pinching myself about this one. The BBC 100 Women list, released annually since 2013, celebrates 100 inspiring and influential women from around the world. This year's theme focused on resilience—recognizing women who are pushing for change in the face of deadly conflicts, humanitarian crises, and global challenges.
Being included alongside incredible women like astronaut Sunita Williams, rape survivor and hero Gisèle Pelicot, actress Sharon Stone, Olympic champions Rebeca Andrade and Allyson Felix, singer Raye, Nobel Peace Prize laureate Nadia Murad, and visual artist Tracey Emin feels surreal. The list has previously featured powerhouse women like Michelle Obama, Amal Clooney, Aitana Bonmatí , and in past years, Billie Eilish, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska Naomi Watanabe and Yumi Suzuki Selected for BBC's 100 Women 2024.
The BBC created this series to examine the role of women in the 21st century, launching a three-week international "women season" featuring broadcasts, reports, and debates 100 Women (BBC) that amplify women's voices and achievements across the globe.
Moral of the story, NEVER GIVE UP on Yourself!
So, why the rebrand of my Digital Journal?
"The Divergent CEO" felt like I was boxing myself into one identity—the business girl, the entrepreneur. But here's the thing: my mind doesn't stay in one lane. It wanders through creativity, mental health, random 3am thoughts about why we say "after dark" when it's actually during dark, and yes, business too.
"A Divergent Mind" feels more honest. More me. It's about embracing the beautiful chaos of thinking differently, whether that's in the boardroom, the coffee shop, or lying awake at 2am connecting dots that probably shouldn't be connected.
The time away wasn't planned, but it was necessary. Sometimes you need to step back and live the experiences before you can write about them. I've been collecting stories, insights, and probably way too many screenshots of random thoughts I voice-noted to myself. And apparently, somewhere along the way, I did something that caught the attention of the BBC. I’m not going to front, I actually worked my a$$ off:)
So here we are—same divergent thinking, broader canvas, and apparently now with some fancy recognition to boot. Ready to dive back into the beautiful mess of thoughts, ideas, and the occasional existential crisis that comes with having a brain that refuses to think in straight lines.
What level are you playing at these days?
Yeah, I cut off all of my Hair too.. Oh and I’m blond too (for now).

Nikola Tesla
The electrical engineer paved the way for current system generators and motors; the way electricity gets transmitted and converted to mechanical power is thanks to his inventions. But despite his patience with scientific experimentation, he apparently had no tolerance for pearls. When his secretary wore pearl jewelry one day, he made her go home.
How dare you, Nikola?
Thank you for reading. I’ll catch you later, in the meantime, cause good trouble and get some sleep!
With Gratitude.
